BACKGROUND

The Analyst, Customer Research & Voice assists on quantitative and qualitative research projects across the organization. The Customer Research & Voice team is part of the Customer Centre of Excellence, and provides insights that guide strategic and tactical decision making. With guidance, the Analyst, Customer Research & Voice assists with day-to-day operations of various Voice of Customer programs, and/or primary research projects. Candidates will work on a diverse range of projects that are reflective of the products and services that Loblaw offers to its customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing, interpreting and evaluating survey results / data tables
• Creating PowerPoint reports of research findings
• Checking excel tables and PowerPoint reports for quality control before issuance
• Checking questionnaires and online survey links for quality control
• Reconciles data and findings from new and existing research
• Learning and utilizing customer data and information from our Voice of the Customer system(s) to support projects
• Exploring the use of innovative research methods to deliver more meaningful, actionable information and recommendations to the business.
• Managing relationships internally and externally with the coordination of research projects

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

• Business, Math, Data Analytics, or Market Research (or related discipline) program
• Keen interest in understanding consumer shopping behavior and building a career in data analytics/ consumer insights
• Very strong analytical skills, with passion for finding the trends in data, identifying key nuggets of insights, and translating them to implications and recommendations for action.
• Strong detail orientation and project management skills are a must for this role
• Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with SPSS a strong asset
