Senior Accountant (ref: SR/SA020)

Your main accountabilities:

• Prepare Tax and IFRS assets register and depreciation calculations on a monthly basis
• Perform and review monthly Capex reconciliations
• Prepare IFRS assets’ disclosures in both English and Greek language
• IFRS 16 leases recognition and bookkeeping – relevant assets disclosures
• Monitoring of Grants’ procedures and documentations and liaison with external consultants
• Provide guidance on CAPEX requests or to resolve inquiries from finance and business units
• Implement Insurance Policy and day to day procedures
• Support year-end audit by coordinating with auditors (Bookkeeping, and tax obligations)
• Assist in Guarantees’ bookkeeping and updating

Your main qualifications/skills:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• A professional qualification (ACCA or IESOEL) would be a plus
• Proven experience as a senior accountant or an accountant ideally in accounting office
• Excellent knowledge of taxation (VAT issues, Income tax and withholding taxes)
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in IFRS and in Foreign Invoices accounting treatment and documentation
• Very good knowledge of Entersoft ERP would be a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluency in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Business, results orientation, integrity and trust
