This role is a combination of HR Generalist & operational services delivery to the EMEA HQ located in Switzerland and EMEA HR data management and analytics out of SSC Riga .You will manage and oversee all employee relations from A to Z, recruitment management, development activities and programs, performance management, step progressions and promotions, compensation and benefits. The other part of the role would include working with HR systems and reporting inquiries which may require additional research and analysis.

Sr. HR Generalist

• Responsibility for the whole employee life cycle of the site; leads and drives all employee related transactional HR matters.
• Handling of entries and leavers including cooperation with internal & external partner based on available checklists. Prepares offer letters and swiss labor contracts; takes care of HRIS entries and HEAT system.
• Onboarding of new employees and leavers management with all parties and systems involved.
• Provides monthly salary administration with external payroll.
• Handling sickness leaves, sickness benefit/accident insurance and administration of pension contributions with respective insurance provider and external partners and T&A management.
• Invoice handling of partners including checks, approval and close cooperation with local Finance and AP Riga including internal reporting requirements.
• Works with HR COE (TA; TM; C&B) regarding all local, regional and global HR processes.
• Handling of assignments and mobility topics for site employees including relocation and immigration topics.
• Provides counsel and advice to line management regarding a wide variety of employee relations issues. Facilitates discussions between employees and managers, if requested. Cooperation with Corp legal and outside legal counsel, if needed.
• Preparation and handling of internal and external audit requests for the site.
• Ensures integrity of data entered in the HR Information System.
• Ensures compliance with all local applicable laws and regulations.

HR Data Management/Analytics

• Provides accurate, consistent and timely responses to HR Systems and reporting inquiries, which are considered to be up to moderate complexity and may require additional research and analysis.
• Reviews and audits HR Systems including PeopleSoft and iCIMS; provides information updates and reporting requirements as needed.
• Provides data management, systems and analytical support to other internal HR departments, including HR Managers, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and others as needed.
• Partners with HR Managers, Finance and Global HRMIS to maintain organizational structure data in HR systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of monthly reporting activities (including metrics, scorecards, and dashboards) as well as complete ad-hoc analysis as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or other relevant discipline (Law, Sociology, Psychology).
• Throughout knowledge of HR specialties (Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Employment, HRMIS, data protection techniques).
• Experience working for an international operating company.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong communications skills in order to interface with employees and managers all levels, handle sensitive issues. Ability to easily connect with people and to act as a trusted partner.
• PC (MS Office: Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s) and HRIS Skills (PeopleSoft preferred).
• Ability to manage areas such as coaching, career counseling, PBM etc.
• Self-starter, quick learner and empathic personality.
• Ability to facilitate meetings; deliver training.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and in the EMEA region.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Experience with data management and report writing tools a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
• Detects and drives simplification and continuous improvement.
